Team Changes

Team changes can be made at all times during the competition, except for a two-hour period after the scheduled start time of each race.

To make changes, click on the CHANGE SELECTION button on your team screen and follow the on-screen instructions.

Changes are unlimited right up until the scheduled start of the Main Championship - the fourth Grand Prix of the season in China on Sunday 18th April.

Once the Main Championship begins, team managers may make up to three team changes between each race, with a quota of 20 changes available for the entire season. This may comprise any combination of driver and constructor changes.

However, you must still ensure that your selections remain within the allocated $100 million budget.

All team changes take place with immediate effect. Changes made in preparation for a race can be cancelled by clicking the CANCEL CHANGES button on the team screen; your transfer quota will also be reimbursed accordingly. Changes made prior to the previous race cannot be reversed.

Qualification can act as a useful guide for the race, with points available for moving up the grid.

Please note that the time of the scheduled start of a race will differ from the time that the actual race starts, so don't leave things to chance by leaving changes to the last minute!
